2025/2026 Schedule
The pricing below reflects the cost for one 8-week session. All classes are cumulative in nature, so it is highly recommended that students register in September and continue through May 2026. Payment is due by the first class of each session. There are no weekday classes during school vacation weeks.
All classes are held at 931 Winslow Mills Road in Waldoboro.
2025/2026 Session Dates:
Session I: September 9th-November 3rd (8 weeks)
Session II: November 4th-January 17th (8 weeks)
Session III: January 18th-March 21st (8 weeks)
Session IV: March 22nd-May 16th/17th (6 weeks plus potential additional rehearsals and mandatory dress rehearsal(s)

Ballet Technique with Melanie Ages 14+* 4:00-5:30pm $136
Jazz/Hip Hop with Melanie Ages 14+* 5:30-6:30pm $120
Teen Dance Troop with Melanie/Michaela 13+ 6:30-7:00pm $50
Ages 14+. {with teacher permission} 7:00-7:30pm $50
(MUST take the preceding ballet and jazz classes to qualify for Dance Troop)
*13-year-olds may attend this class WITH TEACHER PERMISSION
Monday Classes
Pre-Ballet with Melanie Ages 4-7 4:00-4:45pm $112

Tuesday Classes
Adult Low Impact Cardio Hip Hop/Stretch and Conditioning Combo with Melanie 12:00-1:30pm $136 All ages and levels
Int Ballet Technique/Pointe with Francesca (Pre-pointe incorporated) Ages 10+ 4:00-5:30pm $136 (MUST take either Sunday, Wednesday, or Thursday Ballet to qualify.)
Ballet Rep with Francesca Ages 14+ $50 5:30-6:00pm (MUST take the preceding ballet class and be at least 14 years old to qualify.) Learn classical ballet variations and an additional piece for the May recitals!
Contemporary with Ashley Ages 13-adult 6:15-7:30pm $128 (This class includes floorwork and intermediate-level progressions and techniques. Adults, please consult with the instructor before attending).
Contemporary Rep with Ashley Ages 13-adult 7:40-8:10pm $50 (Must take preceding Contemporary class to qualify).
Wednesday Classes
Creative Movement with Christina Ages 3-6 4:00-4:45pm $112
Ballet Technique with Melanie Ages 10+* 5:00-6:15pm $128
Jazz/Hip Hop with Melanie Ages 10+* 6:15-7:15pm $120
Dance Troop with Melanie Ages 10+* 7:15-7:45pm $50 (MUST take the preceding two classes to qualify).
*9-year-olds who danced last year may also attend this class with teacher permission.
Thursday Classes
Adult Ballet with Ashley Adults only 4:00-5:30pm $136
Conditioning/Stretch/Floor Barre Combo with Melanie Ages 12-adult 5:45-6:45pm $120 (This class is an excellent warm-up for the Adult Jazz/Hip Hop class that follows.)
Adult Intermediate Jazz/Hip Hop with Melanie Adults only 6:45-8:00pm $128
Friday Classes
Hip Hop with Michaela Ages 7-12 4:00-5:00pm $120
Hip Hop with Michaela Ages 12-adult 5:15-6:15pm $120

2025 November Contemporary Classes with Calista
2-Day November Contemporary Choreography Workshop Ages 13+ 12:00-3:00pm November 29th & 30th $200 (by invite only)
-Learn a contemporary group dance choreographed by Calista.
-Bring a meaningful message to the stage at the 2026 DanceMaineia Spring Recitals.
-All participants will have a featured role in the choreography.
-Dance costume is included in the price.
-Register by November 1st to enroll.
-A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to save your spot.
Solo & Duet Contemporary Choreography Packages with Calista Ages 10+ November 29th & 30th $400
-Learn a contemporary solo or duet choreographed by Calista.
-Choose your own song or ask Calista to choose for you.
-Choreography will be personalized to you.
-Perform your dance in the 2026 DanceMaineia Spring Recitals.
-Learn the piece in two 2-hour private/semi-private lessons on November 29th & 30th (4 hours of in-person lessons total).
-Schedule a 1-hour virtual lesson with Calista in April 2026 to polish the piece for auditions & recital week.
-Receive costume assistance.
-Register by November 1st to enroll.

Private and semi-private instruction is available throughout the year upon request.
